"What about Captain Zhu Si...?"
Hermione proposed another candidate.
"Of course, you aren't the only witch who meets those basic requirements. As you said, Zhu Si meets them as well."
Jiang Yu gave an almost imperceptible nod and studied the girl carefully, her expression solemn. "But you possess a unique advantage that no one else has."
"An advantage?"
Hermione looked utterly bewildered and unconsciously walked back to the broad stone table.
On one side of the table, a brass instrument shaped like a wine goblet, its surface covered in dense markings and crystal lenses, gave off a soft hum. Images flashed rapidly through its lenses—scenes of different mountains and rivers, as well as the dim, flowing auras deep underground. Several Feather Pens of different colors stood faithfully before the instrument, recording the various data it displayed on a long sheet of parchment.
"Hermione Granger. That name is your greatest advantage."
Jiang Yu pronounced the name clearly, and saw Hermione's body tremble slightly. "You should have finished reading the complete Harry Potter series in First University's library by now, right? Then you must remember that Hermione Granger in the books, as Harry Potter's most dependable companion, faced countless dangerous Magical Creatures—from Norbert the ill-tempered Norwegian Ridgeback, to Grawp the giant, to the Ukrainian Ironbelly guarding Gringotts. And she seemed to possess a remarkable gift, an affinity for communicating with Magical Creatures, understanding them, and even earning their trust under certain circumstances. That ability helped her and her friends escape danger time and again throughout the story."
Hermione's expression became slightly awkward.
Of course, she knew the books Jiang Yu was talking about. She had even secretly read every paper related to Harry Potter in the library, collections of book reviews, and series of articles speculating about Ms. J's true identity.
