Glorious Hunting Team Path was a sports magazine founded in 1864 and now owned by the media giant Beta Town Post. To date, the magazine, with more than 150 years of history, still drew nearly a million readers each week and had over 300,000 loyal followers—including more than 50,000 subscribers from beyond Earth. It was also the first magazine to win the Wizard Alliance's Most Popular Hunting Competition Publication award three times, and it wielded influence throughout the Wizarding World.

It was no exaggeration to say that the magazine's assessment of a hunting competition or a hunting team largely represented the prevailing view in the Wizarding World.

As one of the Wizarding World's three major leagues, the Academy Cup received exhaustive coverage from Glorious Hunting Team Path as soon as it began. The magazine covered everything from the opening ceremony's guest list and seating arrangements to its exhibition hunt; from the draw for the first round-robin match to the order in which teams entered for the final. Glorious even gave ample coverage and commentary to other events that sprang up during Hunting Month, such as the Hunting Dance Party, the Hunting Painting Exhibition, and the Freshman Hunting Competition.
