Magic was a craft with an exceptionally rigorous tradition.

This was especially true of magic involving bodily transformation, where the relevant rules and requirements had reached an exacting level. Wizards encountering Transformation Magic for the first time had to sign the relevant Silence Agreement, along with dozens of authorization forms; they had to preserve samples of relevant surface cells and blood, and leave their names in the Wizard Alliance's records.

Furthermore, except for certain wizards with special circumstances, any wizard practicing Transformation Spells had to report their transformed form—partly to supervise whether those who had mastered the spell were faithfully honoring their commitments, and partly to protect them.

After all, under normal circumstances, wizards became ordinary little animals devoid of Magic Power after transforming. Once their names and forms had been registered, the safety of these transformed wizards could be greatly ensured within the safe zones designated by the Wizard Alliance.

Of course, this only applied to wizards in a "normal" state.

After transforming for the second time, Zheng Qing vaguely felt that he might be able to "break through" the Wizard Alliance's restrictions to some extent—for instance, he no longer needed to register a safe zone before transforming, nor did he need to be ready to sign a thick stack of documents at any time. This meant that with only a small vial of Transformation Potion, he could transform whenever and wherever he wanted.

From the standpoint of personal privacy and convenience, this was indeed no small breakthrough.
