Amber crouched in a corner before a rat cage, his hands tucked into his sleeves, muttering softly to himself.
His voice was so low that even Andrew Taylor, sitting beside him with his legs stretched out, failed to catch everything he said despite straining his ears. Young Master Taylor stuck a short, thick finger into his ear, dug at it, and leaned forward, trying to bring his ear closer.
"What did you just say? What storm, what calm?" His voice was a little too loud, drawing glances from everyone else in the shop.
Amber silently glanced at his captain and said nothing.
After the misunderstanding had been cleared up, Commissioner Andrew of the Trident Sword did not linger and soon took his leave. The visitors from the Ouroboros Hunting Team, meanwhile, eagerly began touring the little shop run by the Youzui group.
