"The final results will be delivered by your pets a week before next semester begins, which is the Lantern Festival," Old Yao said with a chuckle, waving as he started toward the door. "So after break begins, make sure to treat your animal companions nicely, lest they get angry and eat your report cards."
"I kind of hope my report card gets eaten... I don't think I can score ninety on my Magic Script Class exam anymore." Fatty Xin rubbed his chin gloomily. "...Too bad I don't have a pet."
"Ask him already?!" Zheng Qing immediately grabbed one of the fat man's arms, raised it, and shouted at the professor, "Professor, what about people without pets?"
"The school will arrange for other small animals to deliver them to your homes, so there's no need to worry about that." The professor pressed his hand downward, signaling Zheng Qing to put the fat man's arm down.
"Professor, I'll miss you!" Fatty Xin wailed dramatically on cue.
