A notice board was a facility used to post official documents, announcements, notices, and even GG messages.
First University had many such facilities. They could be found in dining halls, in front of teaching buildings, at dormitory entrances, in libraries, along corridors, amid lawns, and even on the Pedestrian Street—display stands topped with triangular awnings.
The emphasis of the content displayed on notice boards varied from place to place.
The notice boards in front of teaching buildings usually displayed documents and notices from the Student Union and the Professor Joint Conference—things like temporary holidays and arrangements for public lectures.
Most of the content on the notice boards at Linzhong Lakefront was posted by the School Labor Committee. For example, when Sand Hour Worms ran rampant last semester, the School Labor Committee posted bright red risk warnings there. At the end of last semester, when they were exterminating insects and rodents, the committee also posted the main hiding areas of those pests, as well as exchange methods and such.
The notice boards at dormitory entrances were often covered with notices about a student's lost pet, someone needing volunteers for an experiment, or someone lacking experimental materials but finding the school's prices too steep and asking others to gather them instead. Notices for club activities, invitations to certain gatherings, and even private flea market transactions could all appear there.
Most notice board content was public and transparent.
But as the saying went, wherever there was sunlight, there were shadows. Wherever things were public, there were inside dealings and backroom operations. And where there were public notice boards, there were naturally notice boards meant for "specific audiences."
The notice board Xiao Xiao took Zheng Qing and Fatty Xin to was one of those.
This notice board was extremely remote, hidden in the woods
