Dai Youheng completed his first divine trial, grew strong enough to defeat Nana in a spar, and maneuvered the Body Sect and Star Luo Empire into a struggle over Huo Yuhao’s treasures. After accepting Xu Jiujiu’s Star Crown Pact and becoming the apparent culprit in the affair, Dai Youheng sent Nana to watch Huo Yuhao’s movements at Shrek.

• Dai Youheng awoke from the dream with the Snow Empress, completed the God of Sloth's First Trial, and absorbed a God-Given Soul Ring that raised him to Soul Saint.
• Dai Youheng defeated Nana in a spar, then sent Ling Ya to contact the Body Sect and offer information about Huo Yuhao in exchange for his storage tools and soul engineering knowledge.
• Ling Ya persuaded Du Busi to pursue Huo Yuhao, but the ambush was disrupted when Long Xiaoyao, Zhang Peng, Xuan Zi, and Shrek's teachers clashed.
• Ling Ya helped Huo Yuhao and Xian Lin'er escape in exchange for the Starlight Sapphire and Jing Hongchen's storage ring, then gave the ring's contents to the Star Luo Empire while retaining its most valuable materials for Dai Youheng.
• Dai Youheng accepted Xu Jiujiu's Star Crown Pact, concealed his plan to exploit it, and agreed to take the blame for the affair so the empire could keep the soul tool research and Ling Ya's allegiance.
• Dai Youheng invoked Yan Shaozhe's promise to block Shrek's demands, while Huo Yuhao learned that Dai Youheng was being presented as the empire's scapegoat.
• Nana watched the Sea God's Fate gathering and followed Huo Yuhao's departure for the Star Dou Great Forest, then returned to Star Luo City to report his movements to Dai Youheng.

Dai Youheng claimed immortal herbs, gained the Ice God Fragment, and advanced his cultivation and plans while the tournament brought him into conflict with Huo Yuhao and the Evil Soul Masters. The stretch ended with Dai Youheng taking on the Brute Force Sect alone and defeating its fighters with ease.

• Dai Youheng and Nana entered the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Nana saved Huo Yuhao in exchange for his claim to seven immortal herbs, and Dai Youheng harvested the herbs for himself.
• Dai Youheng used the Ten-Thousand-Year Nine-Grade Ginseng King to restore Nana’s cultivation, absorbed the Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum, and received the Ice God Fragment after passing the God of Sloth’s trial.
• Dai Youheng accepted the God of Envy’s examination, reunited with Bai Wanning and Dai Luoli, then joined Xu Jiujiu’s Star Crown Sect tournament team as vice-captain.
• Dai Youheng helped Ling Ya condense a second soul core, then formed his own Abyss Demon Core and resolved to make Dai Luoli the future White Tiger Duke.
• At the tournament in Mingdu, Huo Yuhao urged Dai Youheng to return to Shrek, but Dai Youheng refused, while Nana killed Zhu Man and other supporters of Dai Yueheng in Star Luo City.
• Dai Youheng and Huo Yuhao warned Xu Jiujiu that the Holy Spirit Cult posed a threat, as the tournament began and Evil Soul Masters made their presence known.
• Dai Youheng promised Xu Jiujiu he would lead the Star Crown Sect to victory, then stepped forward as its first fighter against the Brute Force Sect.
• Dai Youheng endured the Brute Force Sect fighters’ attacks without harm, shattered A-Li’s arms by reflecting his Shattering Light, and threw him out of the arena.
