After decades of attacking the Divine Realm on the Other Shore, during which even several Great Saints had fallen, they had obtained neither the Life Divine Tree nor the Heavenly Venerable's Killing Formation.
The Great Saints threw back their heads and roared, their fury reaching its limit. The outcome drove them mad with resentment; their faces were livid, their hearts stifled with frustration.

The Great Saint from the Eternal Kingdom, clad in the golden Daoyan Immortal Robe, was the first to tear open space and leave this Star Domain.
Within a few days, the others all departed as well. Only the shattered Other Shore Ancient Star remained adrift in the universe, covered in endless blood and bones, a burial ground for countless living beings.
Though the universe was boundless, true Life Origin Stars were exceedingly rare. Far more common were pure lands opened up by powerful Saints and sages, or Chaos Heavenly Domains, all of which fell within the category of small worlds.
The destruction of the Other Shore Ancient Star was truly regrettable. Yet because Lu Chen had intervened, the boundless power of faith had not been ignited by the Emperor Fiend, and had blocked part of the impact from the Heavenly Venerable's Five Elements essence.
This allowed some fortunate creatures to survive on the fragments of shattered continents, sparing them from complete extinction.
Some surviving Saints of the Other Shore reorganized the continents and reshaped their environments, allowing this former land of the Gods to flourish once more.
Of course, all that came later.
Lu Chen and his two companions lingered outside the Five-Element Continent formed from the Heavenly Venerable's Dao Palace for a month, gathering Five Elements Qi. Only after filling their many Spatial Artifacts did they quietly leave this Star Domain.
