"Teacher, hasn't Apocalypse taken control of your mind?"
Seeing that Brad apparently had no intention of fighting them seriously, Quentin couldn't help shouting.
Brad rolled his eyes. "Of course not. In fact, none of the Four Horsemen is being controlled by Apocalypse. We follow him willingly."

Brad emerged from the ground wearing a Golden Helmet. Rather than completely blocking intrusion by Telepathy, however, the helmet suppressed the radiation of his thought waves, preventing them from easily detecting his brain waves.
"Are you serious? You struggled this much against a few dozen drones?"
Everyone exchanged glances, unable to figure out what Brad intended.
Quentin couldn't be bothered to think about it anymore. Seeing that Brad had stopped attacking them, he immediately brightened, flew over breathlessly, and hugged him.
"Teacher! I knew you hadn't left us."
With a touch of emotion, Brad patted Quentin's back, then said softly, "Let me give you one last lesson. Never approach your enemy carelessly, even if your only conflict is which side you stand on. You can never be sure they won't strike at you just because you're on
