An interesting Joker (Eight thousand words today, and someone still dares call it too little?)

"Damn it!"

Batman slammed his fist into the control panel.

Joker was already a major headache, and so was Scarecrow, but the biggest problem was the fellow currently staying at Scarecrow's house!

Batman did not even want to think about what bizarre reaction might occur if Brad and Joker met.

He needed to intercept the Joker Gang and that green-haired lunatic.

Batman still remembered what Brad had said a few days earlier.

"What reaction I ultimately have with your world depends on your attitude toward me."

Brad's worldview and values were already vastly different from those of ordinary people, and the same went for Joker. A lunatic and a mad scientist-for the first time in ages, Batman felt his head begin to throb at the trouble that might be coming.

There was another piece of bad news.

Superman was in Gotham right now, too.

"Stay safe."

Even Alfred had realized what Batman was worried about, and offered a gentle reminder.

After briefly ending the call, Alfred dialed a certain wayward young man's number without hesitation.

"Master Dick, Gotham may be in trouble."

"Gotham really does have far too many problems."

Brad had just guided Crane through making a brand-new Fear Gas extract, then sighed under Crane's ecstatic yet puzzled gaze.

Doctor Crane could not help feeling anxious again. He thought this new version of Fear Gas, created under Brad's guidance, was already perfect. Why had Brad sighed?
