Han Li captured Black Wind Cave by freeing the Thunder Flood Dragon cubs, destroying Myriad Gu True Cultivator’s phantom, and killing Blood Butcher. A ledger revealed that the Six Demonic Sects’ Nascent Soul Late Stage elders would gather in the Ten Thousand Poisons Marsh in three days to attack Star Palace’s Heavenly South Headquarters, leaving Han Li preparing to regroup before the assault.
The Burial God Abyss opened, prompting the righteous and demonic sects to agree to a fragile ceasefire and send Nascent Soul cultivators inside to seek treasures. Han Li, the Grand Elder, and the Magnetic Essence Griffin entered the rift, with the Star Vault Palace appearing ahead as the five demonic cultivators followed.
Han Li and the demonic cultivators tried to break the formation sealing the Star Vault Palace, but their attacks awakened the ancient god remnant will and damaged their treasures. Han Li proposed slowly nurturing a fissure instead, and the group began the risky method while the gate remained closed.
Han Li and the other cultivators nourished the rift in the formation, awakening the ancient god’s remnant will and revealing a method that opened Star Vault Palace. They entered the palace together under an agreement to cooperate against the remnant will, while their rivalries remained unresolved.
Han Li and his allies fought through ancient cultivator battle souls in the Heavenly Star Ruins and defeated their commander, discovering that the Heavenly Star Token fragments were tied to an ancient god’s prison. Han Li took the first fragment and left the demon cultivators fighting over another clue as he and the Grand Elder headed toward a distant continent to search for the second fragment.
Han Li, the Grand Elder, and the Magnetic Essence Griffin defeated the ancient god remnant will’s Divine Sense Avatar, but the battle left them badly weakened and Griffin injured. They set out for the second Heavenly Star Token fragment, determined to reach the Spacetime Dao Fruit Hall despite the danger.
Han Li and his companions stole the second Heavenly Star Token Core Fragment and fought the ancient god remnant will’s true body. After destroying it at great cost, Han Li escaped the collapsing continent and was transported toward the Spacetime Dao Fruit Hall.
After teleporting into the forecourt of the Chronolight Hall, Han Li discovered that the Spacetime Dao Fruit could be his only chance to recover, then began its Three Heart-Questioning Trials. He passed the first trial by confronting his guilt over the Seven Mysteries Sect’s destruction, while the second trial began immediately afterward.
Han Li passed the second and third Heart Trials by rejecting the illusions of power and nothingness, strengthening his Dao heart despite severe injuries. Chronolight Hall opened its bronze doors to reveal the Spacetime Dao Fruit, and Han Li headed inside while vowing to return for the Grand Elder.
Han Li chose to refine the Spacetime Dao Fruit into source liquid rather than consume it directly, allowing him and the Magnetic Essence Griffin to recover and be remade. After advancing to the nascent soul late stage, Han Li prepared to leave the Chronolight Hall and return to the Heavenly South.
After escaping Chronolight Hall, Han Li discovered and subdued Bone Soul Venerable in a ruined palace, then obtained a drop of ancient god essence blood. He fled as the palace collapsed and continued toward the place where the Grand Elder had vanished.
Han Li returned to the ancient god true body's collapse site and found traces showing that the Grand Elder had survived inside a spacetime interlayer. He entered the rift and located the Grand Elder’s failing Star Cocoon, but ancient god divine strands attacked him before he could free it.
Han Li severed the Ancient God's lingering divinity from the Grand Elder's star cocoon and rescued the Grand Elder's fading remnant soul. With the cocoon secured and his objectives achieved, Han Li and the Magnetic Essence Griffin set out from the Heavenly Star Ruins for Heavenly South.
Han Li hid in a remote valley to stabilize his Nascent Soul late-stage cultivation while the Magnetic Essence Griffin refined Ancient God blood essence. The system rebooted and granted him the Great Evolutionary Sword Art, which he began learning in seclusion as the Griffin underwent a dangerous transformation.
After three months in seclusion, Han Li completed the first level of the Great Evolutionary Sword Art and stabilized his late nascent soul cultivation. An emergency report revealed that the Five Demonic Sects were attacking the Star Palace’s Heavenly South Headquarters Altar, so Han Li and Griffin raced to defend it.
Han Li returned to the Star Palace Main Altar and turned the battle against Venerable Bone Nether, saving the Star Magnetic Sky Canopy and driving the demonic forces into retreat. The righteous forces secured victory, but Han Li expected the conflict with the demonic path to continue.
After Han Li drove off Venerable Bone Nether, the demonic army fled and the righteous cultivators reclaimed Star-Magnetic Peak. With the Grand Elder's fate uncertain and another demonic attack expected, Han Li became Alliance Leader of the Righteous Path Alliance and set out its priorities for recovery and defense.
After becoming Alliance Leader, Han Li ordered the Righteous Path Alliance to care for its casualties, investigate its security failures, and pool resources for recovery and war. With the alliance’s first reforms underway and reinforcements sought from the Chaotic Star Sea, Han Li prepared to meet with the elders and leaders about the next steps.
Han Li laid out a plan to reorganize the Righteous Path Alliance, strengthen its cultivators, and prepare for renewed conflict with the demonic forces. After the council approved his proposals, he flew over Star-Magnetic Peak to inspect the alliance’s rebuilding.
Venerable Bone Nether planned to undermine Han Li’s new Righteous Path Alliance through internal dissent and external pressure, while rumors and resistance spread among its member sects. Han Li dismissed the unrest as he ordered the alliance to accelerate its reorganization and prepare a strike against three Ghost Spirit Sect mines.
Lu Yun, Tu Xiaoyi, and Black Bear led a coordinated assault that seized three Ghost Spirit Sect yin spirit stone mines for the Righteous Path Alliance. Han Li ordered the alliance to fortify the main vein, abandon the two smaller mines as bait, and prepare for the Ghost Spirit Sect’s counterattack.
Han Li opened the Dao Inquiry Pavilion with a lecture on the Sword Dao, winning the admiration of the gathered cultivators. As the ceremony ended, coordinated attackers struck the Headquarters Altar, and Han Li and his allies fought back.
Han Li defeated the attackers at the Dao Inquiry Pavilion and organized the Righteous Path Alliance’s response to the demonic path’s covert assault. He ordered the pavilion’s activities to continue and authorized harassment raids against Ghost Spirit Sect resource sites.
After the attack on the Righteous Path Alliance, Han Li led an investigation into the infiltrators and evidence of a wider conspiracy. A recording implicated a Flowing Cloud Sword Sect elder, while Han Li ordered raids on demonic holdings to draw out the hidden coordinator.
Han Li’s Heaven Division raided the Three Demonic Sects’ outlying assets, while the Mystic Division uncovered evidence linking Shadow Fox and a Flowing Cloud Sword Sect elder to the attack on the Headquarters Altar. Han Li ordered a crackdown on the suspected traitor and a public hunt for Shadow Fox, setting the stage for a confrontation at Flowing Cloud Mountain.
