• Ye Xixuan absorbed the Three-Life Wolf Ape soul bone and fused soul ring, then helped Vina obtain her fourth soul ring and Ma Xiaotao defeat the seventy-thousand-year Elder Crimson Qiu.
• Ye Xixuan returned to Shrek Academy, where he drew Zhu Lu away from Dai Huabin and later became the target of Tang Wutong’s pursuit.
• Ye Xixuan met an assassin named Kero outside Shrek City and fought him with help from Tang Wutong and the arriving Inner Court disciples.
• Ye Xixuan killed Kero and used the negative energy he had absorbed to reveal Heavenly Fiend Douluo Huang Jinxu as a clue to the assassination plot.

• Tang Wutong returned from the Clear Sky Sect hoping to see Ye Xixuan, while he met privately with Tang Ya and Huang Chutian gave up pursuing Zhu Lu.

Ye Xixuan proved his strength in the promotion assessment and core disciple selection, then joined Shrek Academy’s mission against the Myriad Souls Douluo and the Demon Empress. With most of Shrek’s team weakened, he prepared to represent the academy nearly alone as the tournament opened.

• Ye Xixuan defeated the Thousand-Jun Ant King with his dragon bloodline and passed the promotion assessment with full marks, while Tang Wutong passed her own assessment and continued teasing him.

• Shrek’s Inspector Corps found the Myriad Souls Douluo on an island, where Ye Xixuan awakened his light attribute, destroyed the enemy, and broke through Level 50 before the Demon Empress attacked.
• Xuan Zi escaped with the weakened team, and Shrek’s representatives regrouped in Star Luo City with only Ye Xixuan and Tang Wutong ready for the tournament’s opening matches.
• Ye Xixuan agreed to enter the first elimination round alone, while he and Tang Wutong faced the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy delegation and Meng Hongchen showed interest in him.
• Ye Xixuan removed Ling Luochеn’s evil energy, then entered the tournament with Tang Wutong as the only Shrek representatives, surprising the other teams.
