Personality

Saike is proud of being a World Beast and repeatedly dismisses other beings as “lower life-forms.” Becoming the final king is his overriding ambition: he considers outside assistance acceptable if it secures that goal, even when other World Beasts condemn him for it 132 135.

His pride frequently gives way to fear of death. He bargains, flatters Chen Ao, and accepts humiliating conditions when threatened, while privately planning revenge once he becomes stronger. Chen Ao identifies his fearfulness, greed, and limited fighting skill as reasons he is manageable 136 137 146.

Saike becomes vicious when he believes he holds an advantage. Against weaker opponents, he willingly trades injuries for kills and treats their bodies as nourishment. His early reliance on brute force gradually gives way to genuine combat training after he obtains sect inheritances 150 156 160.

History

Alliance in the Dim Land

Chen Ao captured Saike while hunting World Beasts and offered him corpses in exchange for locating stronger prey. Saike led him to Morosa, whose defeat convinced him that Chen Ao could kill second-order beasts. Their partnership was secured by an oath not to attack Chen Ao or his people, followed by enough corpses to raise Saike to the second order 132 133.

Saike initially preferred hunting weaker beasts, slowing his growth. When Aidi began pursuing him, he appealed to Chen Ao for rescue and agreed to provide unrestricted access to his Destruction Origin and address him as “elder brother.” After Saike reached the third order, the pair pursued Aidi for more than a hundred years before trapping and killing him 136 137.

Destruction of Purple Moon Holy Land

Chen Ao brought Saike out of the Dim Land to attack Purple Moon Holy Land’s universe origin. Saike’s Soul Roar eliminated hundreds of its Universe Masters, forcing the survivors to retreat 138.

During the subsequent confrontation, Saike killed Zhen Jiao and consumed the remaining origin until the holy land collapsed. He wanted to attack East Emperor Holy Land next for more nourishment, but Chen Ao refused and took him back to the Dim Land 139.

Becoming the Final King

Saike and Chen Ao pursued the fourth-order Mohe for a million years before killing him. Their continued hunting eventually left Saike as the nest’s sole fifth-order World Beast 145 146.

To overcome resistance from his own kind, Saike promised that becoming stronger would let him cripple Chen Ao despite his oath. World Beasts sacrificed themselves to raise him to the sixth order, then detonated themselves after Chen Ao defeated him again, bringing about his transformation into their king 146.

Saike immediately challenged Chen Ao once more. An Origin attack destroyed over ninety percent of his power, and the threat of additional Origins forced him to abandon his plan to devour the Primal Universe and leave the Universe Ocean through reincarnation 146 147.

Journey Across the Origin Continent

Saike adopted a divine-power disguise and agreed to follow Chen Ao while concealing his identity. He defended Stone Village against beast-power attackers, then pursued the survivors until encountering a settlement guarded by eight Eternal-level beings and retreating 147 148 149.

He later destroyed the No. 4 Beast-Power Gathering Place but could not shake its surviving Eternal True God. Chen Ao’s Chess Sword Sea helped wear down and kill their pursuer. After E Tian organized an ambush against them, Saike helped Chen Ao destroy the Crocodile Ancestor Tribe and consumed the origins of E Tian’s and E Di’s miniature universes 150 151 152.

The pair escaped Dark Nether City during its forced mobilization against a beast-power army. They eventually reached the Snake Staff Tribe within Haotian Gate’s sphere of influence and waited for recruitment 153.

Haotian Sect and Impersonation

Saike passed Yu Lan’s recruitment assessment and became a core disciple, gaining access to inheritances he had previously lacked. Chen Ao later supplied additional cultivation insights to keep him occupied while impersonating him on the Haoshi Battlefield 154 156.

The impersonator’s slaughter of thousands of Stone Kingdom experts made Saike’s name notorious. When the real Saike finally visited the battlefield, those experts attacked him for deeds he had not committed. He killed two Beast-Power Voids while escaping, then moved toward a different battlefield and unsuccessfully tried to contact Chen Ao 157 160.

Exposure and Death

After nearly eighty thousand eras of hunting and cultivation, Saike returned as an Eternal True God with High-Level Eternity combat strength. He hoped to find Chen Ao and finally demonstrate his superiority 161.

Instead, Chen Ao revealed his World Beast King identity to the Black Fiend God King. The God King summoned Saike, demanded to inspect his internal world, and attacked when his identity became clear. After his escape passage was shattered and his pleas to Chen Ao went unanswered, Saike blamed his own greed and self-destructed 161.

Relationships

• Chen Ao — Benefactor, hunting partner, self-styled elder brother, and lifelong rival. Their outward brotherhood concealed mutual distrust and plans to kill one another. Chen Ao ultimately exposed Saike’s identity to the Black Fiend God King 132 136 147 161.
