"Doing experiments?" The familiar voice startled Kenichi Amamiya so badly that his whole body jolted. He used the Body Flicker Technique to dart forward, crashing into the table.
When he turned around, he found that the previously empty Test Base now had one more person in it—his teacher, Orochimaru.
His teacher stood there with his arms crossed, watching him with an odd expression. Kenichi Amamiya felt a little flustered. He knew exactly why his teacher had suddenly come here—he must have discovered that the previous laboratory was gone.
"Teacher, there was a problem with the previous laboratory. I blew it up while conducting an experiment," Kenichi Amamiya confessed honestly. There was no point hiding it; his teacher had plenty of ways to investigate.

"Mm, I know." Orochimaru seemed calm and did not look angry, which made Kenichi Amamiya breathe a sigh of relief.
"There wasn't anything particularly valuable in that laboratory. What were you writing just now? I saw something about explosives." Orochimaru looked at his disciple with great interest.
He knew that his disciple had very unique insights when it came to science. When he had returned and seen his disciple writing, he had deliberately gone over to take a look, only to discover that he could not understand it.
Of course, it was not that he could not understand explosives. He could not understand his disciple's strange ideas.
"Yes, Teacher. That was something I... developed myself. I was conducting tests," Kenichi Amamiya answered honestly.
Had his teacher gone to Gotham City for further study or something? Why did he enjoy silently appearing behind people so much?
Though that also had
