Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's Heart Was in Turmoil

Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was dead.

His injuries had been severe, and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had shown no intention of holding back when she struck. Under such devastating damage, Ōtsutsuki Isshiki truly could not survive. Kenichi Amamiya was not particularly surprised by this. He had seen Isshiki's condition earlier and could naturally tell that he did not have long to live. His death had been inevitable, unavoidable. So Kenichi had not considered prolonging Isshiki's life. It was not as though reviving Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was impossible to attempt. After all, Kenichi possessed ninjutsu such as One's Own Life Reincarnation, and there were other techniques he could use if necessary. But if Ōtsutsuki Isshiki were revived and regained his peak strength, he would become another problem. So Kenichi abandoned that tempting notion. Of course, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's death glare had something to do with it as well. Up to now, Kaguya had only remained silent and avoided him, which actually made Kenichi feel considerably more at ease. The way Kaguya had looked at him before was completely different from how she looked at him now. Thus, Kenichi did not plan to do anything. He merely intended to return to his own Timeline. As for Kaguya's thoughts, he could not spare attention for them for the time being. He had been away from his Timeline for several years already. If he did not return soon, he would start to worry. Though by controlling the Time Machine, Kenichi could return directly to the very second he had left,
