After launching those rockets, Kenichi Amamiya continued with his scientific research. New materials and new elements might determine the pace of technological development, but as things stood, there was still plenty left to explore in this world. His expression grew more serious at the thought. However, conducting this research would require an enormous amount of materials. After thinking it over, Kenichi Amamiya decided to set the time spans at twenty years instead. Fifty years was too long; twenty years would be more convenient for experiments and research alike. With that in mind, Kenichi Amamiya came up with new ideas. He created three such time laboratories, each of which would undergo five years together. After some consideration, he decided to keep the duration shorter, or the Scientists would not be able to endure the mental strain. He had Orochimaru and Amado Sanzu lead teams into those laboratories, while another newly appointed academician led a team into the third laboratory to begin new experiments. Kenichi Amamiya himself intended to continue studying his control over time, to see whether he could deepen that control. If he could compress it further, the depletion of his teacher's clone would be greatly reduced. The thought piqued his interest. He planned to properly study the nature of time and see just how much use it could still offer. Most importantly, he wanted to reduce energy consumption. If the energy loss could be lowered, Kenichi Amamiya would be able to use this thing more often. Sitting in his laboratory, he watched a silver river flow slowly through his hand. His eyes were thoughtful as he looked at the river. He now had some new ideas about it.
Only he could see the true nature of the river of time; no one else could. Kenichi Amamiya believed that might
