As increasingly desperate demons attacked the caravan, Huo Yuhao remained focused on escaping the Demon God Emperor’s control and finding Long Haochen.

• A Bao forced Huo Yuhao into another fight, but Huo Yuhao defeated him and spared him before Feng Xiu sent Huo Yuhao with Yue Ye’s merchant caravan.

Huo Yuhao transformed Demon Race society through farming, education, trade, and the rescue of enslaved humans while preparing a last resort against Feng Xiu. Four years later, Long Haochen and his companions returned to the Holy Demon Continent, discovered the changes, and reached Exorcism Pass with rescued captives.

• Huo Yuhao arranged for Chen Zidian to escort 124 rescued humans to the Temple Alliance and began organizing further returns.
• Huo Yuhao won the Demon Gods’ acceptance, worked with Agares and Yue Ye to document the Demon Race, and built Demon City as a place where demons, hybrids, and humans could live together.

Huo Yuhao prepared the Demon Race for war while trying to buy time against Austin Griffin, then captured the Temple Federation’s investigators and set the conflict in motion. The arc ended with the Demon Race’s legions assembling near the six great fortresses and Huo Yuhao heading to the front lines.

• Huo Yuhao rejected Chen Zidian’s appeal to choose humanity’s side and kept Long Haochen’s return from Feng Xiu, while the Temple Federation debated measures against the Demon Race.
• Huo Yuhao helped Feng Xiu enter Dream Paradise, then took control of the realm and helped Long Haochen escape with Ye Xiaolei as he fought Feng Xiu.
• Huo Yuhao warned the Demon Gods about the coming threat from Austin Griffin and urged humanity and the Demon Race to unite, while Feng Xiu declared a new Holy War.
• Huo Yuhao returned enslaved humans to the Temple Federation and secretly built up Demon Race factories, defenses, supplies, and twelve new legions.
