Seeing Dreepy looking as though life had lost all meaning, Chen Shi couldn't help bursting into laughter.
"All right, it's just a few Pokéblocks. We can always make more. Look at you, you big baby."
"You're acting like I've been abusing you and starving you."
Dragapult snapped out of it, shot Chen Shi an indignant glare, and swept its tail around to give him a hard shove.
Chen Shi hadn't expected Dreepy to pull that trick. Caught off guard, he fell flat on his backside.
"Ow! You little punk, how dare you attack me! I'll beat you to death!"
Chen Shi immediately sprang to his feet and lunged at Dreepy, trying to grab it.
But Dragapult was ready. It flew high into the air, stretched its wide mouth open with both claws, and made a face at Chen Shi.
"Baruya~"
"Don't get cocky! Take this!"
Chen Shi picked up a pebble from the ground and hurled it hard.
Dragapult twisted aside to dodge the flying pebble and kept taunting him, looking as punchable as could be.
Out of options, Chen Shi resorted to the ultimate technique: calling for backup.
"Jirachi, come quick! There's something fun here!"
Dragapult froze. Why was he suddenly shouting? And why was he calling Jirachi?
What fun?
Up on the Villa's second floor, Jirachi pushed the window open with its little hands and flew down excitedly.
"Shi, I'm coming!"
"Where's the fun? Jirachi wants to play too!"
"Sure, sure, Jirachi can play too." Chen Shi grinned smugly at Dreepy in the sky. "Jirachi, today we're going to play a game called Angry Dreepy!"
"We pick up little stones and throw them at Dreepy to see who can hit it the most."
"The winner gets to decide what we eat for lunch today. How does that sound?"
