He was just about to return to his wooden hut when Shate, who had heard the news, intercepted him.
Shate looked frantic. "Lord Autumn, could you please take a look at Little Blue and see what's wrong?"
"I don't know what happened yesterday, but he suddenly changed. Now he's big and hard."
Chen Shi was a little surprised.
Big and hard? That should mean he evolved, right?
A few days ago, Bagon had looked like he had only just recovered from malnutrition. Had he evolved in the short time Chen Shi had been away?

"Lord Autumn, look, this is Little Blue. What's happened to him?" Shate pointed at Shelgon and asked in confusion.
Chen Shi glanced at him and said calmly, "He's evolved. It's a good thing, so you don't need to worry."
"Once he evolves again, he'll become a Salamence like his mother."
"You can think of it as part of growing up."
"Evolved?" Shate scratched his head, not quite understanding the word.
As someone from a small tribe, his knowledge of Pokémon was woefully limited.
