Rayquaza carried Chen Shi across the ocean, flying who knew how far before stopping over a stretch of sea.
Just as Chen Shi was about to ask a question, Rayquaza opened its mouth and fired a Dragon Pulse at the sea below.
In an instant, an untold amount of seawater was annihilated, leaving a vast empty space in the formerly turbulent sea.
On the seabed, a sleeping giant beast jolted awake. It looked up, its gaze seeming to pierce the endless seawater to see Rayquaza above.
After a moment of silence, Kyogre dragged its exhausted body rapidly toward the surface.
Once it reached the surface, Kyogre did not look at Rayquaza first. Instead, it looked at Chen Shi on Rayquaza's head.
Chen Shi gave a couple of awkward chuckles and waved. "Hey there!"
Rayquaza said coldly, "You know the current situation. Go stay in the Mystery Realm for a thousand years. During that time, you are not to come out or cause any major disturbances. Otherwise... the consequences will be more than you can bear!"
At those words, Kyogre's enormous eyes instantly turned savage. Its aura kept rising, as though it would attack at any moment.
Seeing this, Chen Shi immediately took out his Key Stone. If Kyogre really attacked, he would certainly help Rayquaza beat it up without hesitation.
Rayquaza, however, remained remarkably calm, seemingly unafraid of Kyogre attacking.
It knew Kyogre all too well.
In truth, this fellow was just like it: desperate to save face, but when things became hopeless, it would back down when it had to.
Sure enough, Kyogre ultimately chose not to attack.
It knew that with that human and Victini present, it stood no chance against Rayquaza alone.
If it attacked, all it would get was a beating, with nothing else to show
