Final exams were nerve-racking. The arts and science students frantically reviewed amid a sea of questions, scratching their heads over torturous test papers every day.
The Pokémon Studies finals did not consist solely of battles; Pokémon knowledge was tested too. Comparatively speaking, the Pokémon Studies students had it easier.
For the battle portion, each student fought three matches against the PE teachers from the various classes, who scored them based on their performance.
During the final exam, Cheng Tian overslept and arrived at the exam room ten minutes late. Fortunately, he had overslept because he had stayed up late studying, so he still managed to finish writing just in time.
His three matches against Teacher Zhou were fairly standard too. After all, with such a large level gap, winning was impossible. In the end, Frogadier fought one match, and Aron fought two.
Aron's level was low, and after those two matches, he gained another level, reaching level 19. He also learned the move Roar.
This move was not to be underestimated. When Aron faced a Fighting-type or Ground-type opponent that dealt quadruple damage to him, he could use it to force the opponent off the field and make them switch.
It was worth mentioning that Cheng Tian also let Noibat out during the battles. Wearing the Exp. Share, the little fellow watched from the sidelines and absorbed a great deal of experience at once, his level shooting straight from 1 to 4. He also learned the move Gust.
That was understandable. After all, Noibat's level was so low that experience from battles in the twenties was enough to raise him three levels.
Once the final exams were over, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Good results or bad, the exams were over anyway. Next came the exciting winter break!
"Woohoo!
