On Cheng Tian's side, Aron and Noibat had changed the most noticeably.
Ever since Noibat began getting handed over to Noivern for training from time to time, the little one had been in quite a sorry state.
Every day, its body bore injuries large and small, with some areas even scorched black. After treatment, it would resume training the next day.
Cheng Tian's heart ached for it. Although he did not know how Noibat trained each day, it was certainly not something easy to endure.
Long Weixi kept reassuring him about this. "Noivern knows its limits. It seems to really like your Noibat and wants to teach it all sorts of things. The path to strength won't always be smooth sailing. A little hardship will be good for Noibat's growth."
She was not wrong. In this past month alone, Noibat had added three moves to its learned moves. Two of them were U-turn and Protect.
What surprised Cheng Tian most, however, was that Noibat had also learned an incredible move!

Cheng Tian made a special trip to observe Noibat's training routine. Like a strict teacher, Noivern showed Noibat no leniency whatsoever. Besides the mandatory daily Wild Charge training, it would occasionally coach Noibat in combat techniques itself.
This was no small matter. Noibat suffered quite a few injuries every day, but in return, a Dragon-type Pokémon from an Elite Four member's main lineup was teaching it everything it knew!
Noibat's own bearing also seemed to have changed. It was no longer the somewhat timid little baby that liked acting spoiled. In front of this senior, its Dragon-type bloodline seemed to have been stirred considerably. Its gaze gradually grew sharp and murderous, and its once babyish cries began to sound somewhat frenzied.
Noivern was very satisfied that Noibat
