Three Victreebel had been dealt with, but more were on their way.
The Rattata had ultimately struggled to escape their fate. Though a scant few had been lucky enough to survive, more had become nourishment for the Victreebel.
With too many wolves and too little meat, the Victreebel that had caught Rattata naturally took their time, leisurely and unhurried, while those that had caught nothing grew even hungrier and more irritable.
Cheng Tian and Su Han had already regrouped with Song Rongxue and Yu Fei, and they were now searching for traces of Bai Yun and the others.
"Woobat."
Cheng Tian looked up at Noibat. "How's it going, Noibat? Have you found Bai Yun and the others?"
Noibat shook its head, leaving Cheng Tian to sigh helplessly. They did not dare shout now, because judging by the timing, the Victreebel had very likely returned already.
Just then, Krokorok burst out of the ground and anxiously said something to Song Rongxue. Her expression changed. "Everyone, hide!"
"How? Where are we supposed to hide?"
Cheng Tian looked around, then pointed at a tree. "Over there!"
It took considerable effort for them to climb the tree, especially Yu Fei, who had to stand on Snorlax's belly to get up. He had only just recalled Snorlax from the ground when a rustling came from the bushes nearby, and three Victreebel emerged.
Those three had been lucky enough to catch Rattata, and now they intended to head back and bask in the sun.
But since they had run into them, Cheng Tian naturally would not let them leave just like that. They had to fight them first, at least. He gestured to the others up in the tree, and all three instantly understood, reaching for the Poké Balls at their waists.
Cheng Tian and Yu
