Cheng Tian swallowed with an audible gulp. He had imagined being lucky enough to encounter this legendary Thundering Pokémon, but when Zeraora actually stood before him, he still could hardly believe his eyes.
"Ra."
Zeraora frowned, looked Cheng Tian and Frogadier up and down, then lost interest.
It wasn't them.
That strange power and presence I sensed on the mountainside earlier didn't come from them.
Shaking his head in disappointment, Zeraora turned to leave. He had thought this human who had suddenly appeared was the one who had triggered that strange phenomenon, but it seemed he had been overthinking things.
I have to find that fellow before it leaves.
Then beat it!
This Zeraora had an almost twisted obsession with growing stronger. From beginning to end, he had always felt that his limits lay far beyond this. His body was like an unopened treasure vault, and he believed that once he grasped the key to unlocking it, he would be unrivaled.
As for how this human and the Pokémon in his arms had gotten here, he did not care.
Only the strong mattered to him.
Cheng Tian studied Zeraora's information panel. This Zeraora was far from his strongest state. One obvious indication was that his level was not yet high enough for him to learn his signature move, Plasma Fists.
A Zeraora without Plasma Fists had no soul.
Cheng Tian carefully studied the Zeraora before him: his fur, constantly discharging electricity, his solid, powerful muscles, his handsome face, and those cold, merciless eyes.
He looks so much cooler in real life than in the anime!!!
"I really want to catch him..." Cheng Tian was sorely tempted.
Zeraora, however, had no desire to waste any more time with him and turned to leave. Electricity had already begun surging beneath his feet.
