The battles on the field continued, and soon it was Cheng Tian's turn. A classmate stood in the middle of the field, acting as referee. When he saw Cheng Tian come up, he called to the others, "Would anyone like to battle this student?"
"I will!" A boy soon stepped forward. "I've heard for a while that you're great at battling. Today, I'll see for myself."
"Both contestants, please send out your Pokémon!"
The boy tossed a Poké Ball, and a Panpour with aqua-blue fur appeared on the field. "Then this is my Pokémon!" Cheng Tian tossed a Poké Ball, and Aron appeared on the field. "Aron!"
Aron had the Rock type, so the Water-type Panpour dealt twice the damage to Aron, but Cheng Tian wasn't worried in the slightest.
"Begin!" The student acting as referee gave the signal, then quickly left the field.
"Panpour, use Water Gun!" Panpour quickly fired a Water Gun while nimbly closing in on Aron.
Aron planted both feet on the ground and unleashed Rock Tomb, enclosing both the incoming Water Gun and Panpour.
The Water Gun struck the rocks to no effect, but Panpour quickly climbed over them and leaped above Aron. Water gathered around its tail, which came smashing down toward Aron's head.
"Harden, then Metal Claw!" Aron quickly used Harden to toughen its body, then raised both foreclaws to block Panpour in midair.
Just as Aron was about to make its next move, the boy suddenly gave an order. "Play Nice!"
Panpour suddenly stopped and reached out to shake Aron's claw, looking like they were the best of buddies.
"Aron?" Aron was a little bewildered, only for Panpour to suddenly raise a foot and kick straight at it. Cheng Tian immediately realized what the opponent intended. "Protect!"
