The Water Guns bounced off its shell. Spinning rapidly, Wartortle slammed into one Frogadier after another, and the Frogadier quickly vanished.
Wartortle stopped and poked its head out. Bracing both hands against the ground, it swiftly raised a wave and rode it toward Frogadier.
Frogadier raised a Whirlpool around itself. Unafraid of the towering wave, it charged straight toward it.
Water collided with water and merged without any physical reaction, but Wartortle swiftly jumped down from the crest.
"Haze!"
Wartortle spat out a cloud of black mist, carefully controlling it so that it surged only toward Frogadier rather than back toward itself.
