After finishing the call with his family, Yong settled his emotions and headed to the lounge.
He immediately spotted Reggie wearing an apologetic smile and Akemi sitting beside him with a decidedly unfriendly expression! The girl was still holding his Larvesta in her arms!
Sensing a familiar presence, Larvesta immediately noticed Yong's arrival. With a happy cry, Larvesta jumped out of Akemi's arms and crawled quickly toward the boy.
Yong smiled happily and picked up the little Pokémon, feeling the warmth radiating from its body.
"It looks like Miss Akemi took great care of you, Larvesta! Why do I feel like you've gotten heavier?"
"Larva~"
Reggie and Akemi walked over as well, and Yong said with a smile,
"Thank you, Miss Akemi! I'm so sorry for all the trouble!"
Akemi shook her head and stroked Larvesta's head with mock annoyance.
"You ungrateful little thing! It was nothing... as long as you both came back safely!"
Glancing at the somewhat awkward-looking Reggie, Yong figured the two of them probably had plenty to discuss, so he said with a smile,
"We ran into a few problems along the way, but things turned out pretty well! If there's one thing I want to do most right now... it's get a good night's sleep! Haha!"
Reggie nodded in agreement.
"Me too. I've barely rested this whole time..."
Akemi shot him a glare, then took out several Pokémon Balls and handed them over along with Yong's backpack, saying with a smile,
"Here are your Pokémon and belongings, back where they belong! Get some proper rest today!"
Yong took his Pokémon Balls, slung on his backpack, and exchanged a look with Reggie before nodding with a smile.
"Thanks again! I'll head back to my room, then! See you tomorrow!"
