Strolling down the streets of Hearthome City, Yong gazed at the dazzling array of shops around him and sighed in admiration.
"No wonder this big city is so famous. It's peaceful and welcoming. It really feels like a place where people live."
He took in the gentle smiles on the faces of passersby, acquaintances gathering to chat happily, and children chasing Pokémon through the streets and alleys, their laughter ringing out without end.
Reggie smiled.
"Hearthome City's name brings together the ideas of home and connection. People from all over are welcome to visit or settle here. Everyone values love and carries goodwill in their hearts, so it's a truly charming city!"
He held the injured Starly in his arms.
The little Pokémon seemed especially attached to Reggie, staying quietly nestled in his arms while curiously surveying the world around them.
Akemi seemed very familiar with Hearthome City. She smiled and said,
"This is where they hold the Super Pokémon Contest! Compared with the Pokémon Contests I've seen in the Hoenn Region, the competitions in Hearthome City are grander and even more exciting. Unfortunately, none of us are Pokémon Coordinators. Although there aren't any restrictions on who can enter, you still need a certain reputation to compete in the Super Pokémon Contest."
Yong nodded with a smile.
"I'm not particularly interested, to be honest. But I've heard there are all sorts of clubs here too?"
"That's right! They're all organized by people who love Pokémon! There are quite a few kinds, too! The Electric-type Home, the Grass Club, the Extreme Flying Corridor..."
Intrigued, Yong asked,
"Are there any clubs for Rock-types and Ground-types?"
Akemi thought for a moment, then shook her head regretfully.
"I don't think I've heard of any. I remember there used to be a Stone House a
