Snowpoint Temple...

Of course Yong knew the place. It was indeed the temple where Regigigas had put itself into slumber, but why was there a Triangle Device on Iron Island that could transport them here?

Iron Island lay off the southwestern coast of the Sinnoh Region, while both Snowpoint City and Lake Acuity were in the farthest reaches of the continent's north! The distance between them was immense!

"Mr. Riley! What is that silvery-white device?"

Riley walked back and forth before the three statues, checking on Metang and the others. At the question, he smiled.

"Although I don't know exactly where it came from, Registeel must have been the one who placed it on Iron Island!"

Yong nodded.

"Was it because of the Oreburgh Ruins? The device does have a metallic texture. If it was the Steel Pillar's handiwork, that would make sense..."

"You know about the Oreburgh Ruins too? It seems you know quite a few legends from the Sinnoh Region, not just Hoenn!"

Riley smiled and looked at the statues of the Legendary Titans.

"But it clearly transported the wrong people. Neither of us has the key to open these ruins, so we can't awaken Regigigas... These statues, though, can help Pokémon of the corresponding types grow stronger. You could give it a try!"

"Grow stronger?"

Looking at Nosepass, whose body surged with Rock-type energy, and Metang and Lucario, who were enveloped in Steel-type energy, Yong thought for a moment and let Pupitar out.

"Pupitar!"

"Go on! Stay near the statue on the far left and improve as much as you can!"

Pupitar rocked its body and followed Nosepass's example, settling quietly near the Regirock statue and closing its eyes to meditate.

"But if the Triangle Device can't absorb enough energy, will we have to stay here forever?"
