"Long time no see, Dr. Moroboshi!"
Yong jumped off Aerodactyl's back and greeted everyone present with a smile.
Aside from Dr. Moroboshi himself, everyone there was a researcher at the institute and could be considered one of his students.
"It certainly has been a while! Yong, I've heard quite a lot about you this past year!"
Dr. Moroboshi patted the boy's shoulder and smiled.
"Just as I thought! You're an exceptional young man! If you went into research, I'm sure you'd have a bright future there too!"
He waved for the surrounding crowd to disperse, then studied Aerodactyl for a moment before nodding.
"You've raised Aerodactyl quite well, though its limbs seem to lack a little power. Is it still suppressing its desire to battle?"
Yong nodded and smiled at his partner.
"Yes. It shouldn't grow too quickly right now, so we've deliberately slowed its development. We've been waiting to come back so it could take the Gene Potion under your supervision."
"I understand!"
Dr. Moroboshi smiled knowingly.
"Then come with me! Let's go to the laboratory!"
Yong recalled Aerodactyl and followed Dr. Moroboshi into the institute.
Before long, Yong spotted Dr. Annu in a spacious laboratory, examining several Omanyte. When she saw the two enter, she set down the Omanyte in her hands and approached with a smile, giving Yong a gentle hug.
"Welcome back, my boy!"
The cave Yong had discovered had become an important source of resources for the Ancient Pokémon Fossil Research Institute.
Their continued exploration had uncovered numerous traces of extinct Ancient Pokémon that had once lived in the cave, as well as many fossil fragments.
Though those fragments were incomplete, they were still extremely important research subjects for Dr. Moroboshi and Dr. Annu, greatly advancing their in-depth studies of Ancient and even Super-Ancient Pokémon.
