Opelucid City lay directly north of Nimbasa City, with very little distance between the two as the crow flew.

Even without trying, the dominant presence it radiated kept the many Flying-type Pokémon traveling nearby from daring to approach.

Opelucid City was a city built amid ancient ruins.
Ancient buildings and ruins stood everywhere, steeping the entire city in the long flow of history and filling it with the weathered, weighty air of an age-old civilization.
Most of its modern buildings featured cool, subdued colors.
Grayish white, light brown, dark brown, deep purple.
Only one building was an exception.
The Pokémon Center stood in the heart of the city, sporting its classic red-and-white colors!
Yong and Kofu had arranged to meet there.
Following the crowds, Yong took in the sense of calm and awe this historic city inspired. With his map to guide him, he finally reached the Pokémon Center.
Inside the lobby, Kofu was already waiting in the lounge.
"You finally made it, Yong! I was starting to think you weren't interested!"
Kofu laughed and gave Yong a friendly punch. They sat down, and Yong rubbed his shoulder as he replied helplessly,
"I couldn't help it. I had to consider what Volcarona wanted. It had only just produced offspring, and now they had to be separated. Honestly, even I felt bad about it..."
He had considered leaving Volcarona with the Enjo Clan for a while, but he simply didn't know them well enough to feel completely at ease.
