The final match was between Anistar Gym and Santalune Gym.
Viola came from a special place, so special that everyone looked out for her... perhaps out of caution, perhaps for some other reason. Because of that, no matter what schemes Miss Uma harbored, she could not-or rather, dared not-target Viola.
Leaving everything else aside, among those seated here, Gym Leader Wulfric and Ramos would certainly stand behind Viola! Of the others, Mr. Matsumiya also looked after her, while Miss Matisse openly called herself Viola's older sister. As for Korrina and Yong, they probably had closer ties to Viola too...
And so, Miss Uma ignored the questioning looks her subordinates gave her and sent them onto the field.
Meanwhile, under everyone's amused gazes, Viola pulled aside her Gym's two equally nervous Ace Trainers and kept giving them reminders...
"Just relax... don't be nervous! All you need to do is perform as well as you normally do..."
"Don't push yourselves. Winning or losing doesn't matter..."
"The people over there look so cold! Jiujiu, Xiaoni, I'm telling you, you must always greet others with a smile..."
"Here... copy me!"
One little girl teaching two other little girls... the sight was enough to make everyone chuckle.
Ramos could not help coughing twice before looking at Viola with a warm smile.
"Little girl! You can teach them all this in private later... look, it's time. Let them take the field..."
"Oh! I almost forgot!"
Viola flashed Ramos a huge smile, then turned to Deni and Miku.
"All right! Go have your match first! Good luck!"
Still a little nervous, Miku and Deni exchanged a glance and walked to their command positions.
Yet, despite how nervous they had been just moments ago, once they actually stood at their command positions, those feelings unexpectedly turned into flickers
