Sunlight poured down freely, as though the sun had flared with even greater passion at that moment! The air grew hotter, and with Volcarona's arrival, a faint burning sensation became startlingly intense across the field.

As Volcarona fluttered its wings, golden dust glittered brilliantly in the sunlight, reflecting dazzling rays. A hazy red-gold mist enveloped its body like flames. Amid that fiery radiance, it seemed as though a fire god had descended!

Its colorful plumage was strikingly vivid! The front of its head curved into the shape of a beak, but its actual mouth sat beneath that "beak," surrounded by white feathers.
A blue-green, masklike marking covered half its face, resembling a knight's helmet. The top of its head was orange, with a crest made of three feathers.
Its capelike wings were red on the outside and blue-green on the inside, with a sharp claw near each wingtip!
