Kenjaku was a freak.
Kenjaku conceded half of that. After all, from a biological standpoint, an existence like hers undoubtedly fell into that category, but she absolutely refused to accept it in the psychological sense.
Over more than a thousand years of human life, Kenjaku had constantly switched between male and female identities. She had been a man with a wife and a woman who had experienced pregnancy.
If anyone truly wanted to discuss "the joys of living" with her, then regardless of whether she was right, her arguments at least carried an authority no one could rival.
"Honestly, I was planning to use Tengen as material to create a new life-form, but now I have to do it myself. Who knows whether it'll work? If I lose consciousness... Haha, I'll do it no matter how great the risk is anyway."

Kenjaku mused with interest over what form she would take after going over there and devouring that power. She didn't care whether her own consciousness would dissipate. Experiencing a transformation of consciousness-even getting to feel the body of an entirely new life-form for a single second-would leave her more than satisfied.
