Yuki Tsukumo was the first jujutsu sorcerer to be designated special grade. Her cursed technique, "Star Rage," allowed her to imbue herself with virtual mass.
Because her ideals differed from the prevailing views at Jujutsu High and throughout Jujutsu Society, she spent most of her time abroad, conducting experiments and research.
Why did cursed spirits come into existence?
Because ordinary people inevitably leaked cursed energy from their bodies, and as that energy accumulated, negative emotions acted as a catalyst to turn it into cursed spirits.
Jujutsu sorcerers, on the other hand, could control their cursed energy fairly well. Highly skilled sorcerers barely leaked any at all, while the amount that weaker sorcerers leaked was insufficient to create cursed spirits.
