At noon the next day, Gojo returned to Jujutsu High, looking travel-worn.
There were bloodstains of unknown origin on him, but he looked in good spirits, holding a strange, silver-gray, cube-shaped Cursed Object.
Sukuna looked him up and down, confirming that he was still the original Satoru Gojo and hadn't been replaced by Kenjaku.
"Taken care of?"
Gojo tossed the cube-shaped Cursed Object in his hand, amusement in his eyes. "Do you even have to ask?"
Sukuna glanced at the Cursed Object. Eyes covered its silver-gray cubic shell.
This was his first time seeing the Prison Realm in person, too. One look told him that this was a prison his Little Fox would never go near.
Holding the napping Little Fox, he silently took two steps back.
"That's enough?"
Gojo shrugged, looking at the Prison Realm in his hand with a trace of regret.
"Yeah. After all, I couldn't kill him..."
Kenjaku had made contracts with countless curses. If he were killed, they would all escape, which was why Gojo hadn't been able to act back in Shibuya.
So he had simply beaten Kenjaku to the brink of death over and over, then locked him inside the Prison Realm.
Since I couldn't kill him, I might as well seal him.
Kenjaku would surely be very "satisfied" to be sealed by the Special Grade Cursed Object he had found himself.
Gojo smiled and said to Sukuna, "I'll come find you later."
With that, he turned to go see Tengen.
Kenjaku's target had always been Tengen-even his plan to seal Gojo in the Prison Realm had only been meant to make dealing with Tengen easier.
Tengen possessed the Cursed Technique of "immortality" and a Barrier Technique surpassing that of every other sorcerer. Through barriers spread across the land, Tengen could gather information.
