Late that night, everyone finally tired themselves out and returned to Jujutsu High.
Before heading back, Little Fox gave Gojo a meaningful look. Gojo raised an eyebrow and followed him into a twenty-four-hour café, where they sat down.
"Um..."
Holding his water, Little Fox tried to think of the best way to bring up the subject.
"You seemed a little down today... Is it because of Geto?"
Then he added,
"I wasn't trying to eavesdrop on you. I just happened to hear something about 'bringing someone back'... I thought about it, and figured it was probably about that best friend of yours..."
He still didn't know this best friend's full name. Gojo only called him "Geto," so he followed suit.
He cautiously glanced at Gojo's expression. Seeing that he seemed a little stunned, he continued.
"Well... If you haven't found a way to bring Geto back yet, I asked Sukuna, and he said he might be able to try... He knows the Séance Technique, so maybe he could bring Geto back."
Once he finished, he waited quietly for Gojo's answer, a little nervous.
Gojo froze for a moment.
He opened his mouth as if to say something, then closed it again.
His gaze lowered, and only after a while did he speak.
"...That's not entirely it."
It wasn't entirely that he hadn't found a way to bring Geto back...
But there was too much involved for him to explain it all clearly to Little Fox.
All he could do was smile and say, "If I need help, I'll come to you."
Looking at the smile on Gojo's face, Little Fox felt an ache in his heart.
It was all too obvious that he was forcing himself.
He remembered Gojo saying something about having killed Geto himself.
He hesitated, then tentatively
