Haruto Takanashi, the astronomy teacher and kendo club advisor at Demon Slayer Academy, walked through the school gates with an iced Americano in hand, yawning.
Teachers and students alike greeted him warmly along the way, and Haruto sleepily returned each greeting.
"Oh, you're on inspection duty again today."
A dispirited figure stood at the school gates. Zenitsu Agatsuma, a disciplinary committee member, held a little notebook as he recorded the students passing through, his eyebrows drooping.
