After afternoon classes ended, the students trickled off to their respective clubs for club activities.
Haruto pushed open the kendo club's door and heard a familiar argument inside.
"If you only joined the kendo club to chase after someone you idolize, I suggest you leave sooner rather than later."
A female voice that sounded as gentle as water said unhurriedly, "Or shall I give you a thorough thrashing with my sword before asking you to leave?"
"You're so weird. Me being here doesn't affect you at all. Whether I'm chasing after an idol or which person here I like, what does any of that have to do with you?"
Another female voice, this one rather petulant, shot back, "As expected of a Gyokuryu Flag Tournament champion. You really do look down on ordinary people~"
Haruto stood in the doorway, grimacing as he scratched his head.
One of the girls arguing inside was Kanae's younger sister, Shinobu Kocho, whom Haruto had known for a long time.
The other was Ume, who had blown him a kiss from the motorcycle that morning.
Both were members of the kendo club, but neither approved of the other's behavior, so they were always arguing in the clubroom.
Haruto had no good solution for this. All he could do was try his best not to be there when the girls argued.
Still, he leaned toward Shinobu Kocho. After all, Shinobu had always behaved graciously and
