The First through Fourth Hokage arrived to help the Shinobi Allied Forces contain the Ten-Tails, while Hashirama Senju went to fight Madara Uchiha. After Sasuke Uchiha joined Naruto Uzumaki, Lin Guang told Uchiha Itachi that he wanted to meet the Sage of Six Paths.

• Minato Namikaze, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Tobirama Senju, and Hashirama Senju arrived, and Lin Guang explained how the current Kage had trapped the Ten-Tails and treated the wounded.
• Madara Uchiha challenged Hashirama Senju, and Hashirama agreed to fight him away from the main battle.

• Lin Guang told Uchiha Itachi that he wanted to meet the Sage of Six Paths, then sat down to recover while Itachi entered the battlefield.
• Lin Guang opened 309 Battlefield Wooden Treasure Chests and gained lightning, fire, and earth affinities, which combined into the King of the Elements ability.

• Lin Guang used the Sheep Talisman to leave his body and meet Hagoromo Otsutsuki in a white expanse.
• Hagoromo recognized Lin Guang’s extraordinary chakra and natural abilities, while Lin Guang asked whether the Sage had foreseen Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s revival.

• Hagoromo Otsutsuki gave Lin Guang the Rinnegan, insights into yin-yang power, and the sealing formula for Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei.
• Lin Guang saw that Obito Uchiha had become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and that the God Tree had devastated the Shinobi Allied Forces.

• Shinobu Kocho and the other women left the battlefield to rest, while Lin Guang explained that he would seal the final enemy himself.

He then entered the Kamui Dimension to destroy Obito Uchiha’s Rinnegan, but Madara arrived and reclaimed it, leaving Lin Guang trapped with him.

• Lin Guang rescued Yamato, left White Zetsu with Uchiha Itachi, and rushed to the battlefield where Might Guy opened the Gate of Death against Six Paths Madara.
• Might Guy struck Madara Uchiha with Evening Elephant and Night Guy, but Madara regenerated; Lin Guang knocked away Madara’s Truth-Seeking Orb and healed Guy, while Naruto Uzumaki used Yang Power to keep him alive.

• Lin Guang escaped Obito Uchiha's Kamui Dimension and told Kakashi that Obito was in Madara Uchiha's hands.
• Madara Uchiha emerged with Black Zetsu controlling Obito Uchiha and a complete pair of Rinnegan.

• Lin Guang joined the fight against the meteors with his complete-body Susanoo while Madara Uchiha approached the moon and awakened the Eye of the Moon.

• Black Zetsu told Madara Uchiha that he was Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s will, not Madara’s creation, and revealed that Madara had been living in a dream Black Zetsu had designed.
• Lin Guang appeared and challenged Black Zetsu, who began absorbing Madara Uchiha and chakra from the God Tree and the people caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

• Lin Guang redirected Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s hair attack through a Space Gate, and Black Zetsu warned her about his spatial abilities and sealing powers.

• Lin Guang asked Kaguya Ōtsutsuki to tell him her story, but Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha arrived through a Kamui passage before she could begin.

• Kotori Itsuka tried to wake Shido Itsuka, then fled his room claiming he was infected with the T-virus because he tickled her.
• Lin Guang pretended to knock the T-virus out of Shido Itsuka and reassured Kotori Itsuka before Shido helped prepare breakfast.
• The siblings watched news of a small Spacequake near Tengu City, and Kotori Itsuka promised Lin Guang she would eat breakfast after he defended her lollipop.
