Chiba Yo paused at her words, then nodded. "I do. We're good friends, and I'm also his senior fellow disciple.
"And you are...?"
"That's wonderful. My name is Koinatsu, and I'm an oiran in the Yoshiwara Pleasure District. Tanjiro and the others saved me from a demon there. This is a letter I wrote to him. Could you deliver it to him for me?"
Koinatsu smiled at Chiba Yo, then handed him the letter she was holding.
Daki had captured her before the battle in the Entertainment District, but Tanjiro had arrived and saved her. After that, she had temporarily fled the district and escaped being caught up in the fighting that followed.
"Of course. I'll make sure he gets it."
After hearing Koinatsu's explanation, Chiba Yo understood. He reached out and took the letter.
However, Chiba Yo would not be returning to headquarters anytime soon, and he was unlikely to see Tanjiro either. He planned to ask his Kasugai Crow to deliver the letter to Tanjiro.
"Thank you."
Koinatsu bowed slightly in thanks. Rather than leaving, she asked Chiba Yo, "May I ask how he was doing after that battle?"
Koinatsu was still quite worried about Tanjiro. After all, he had saved her life.
Koinatsu sat down beside Chiba Yo and looked at him, waiting for his answer.
Meeting Koinatsu's ruby-red eyes, Chiba Yo looked away toward the courtyard gate ahead. Just now, he had felt his heartbeat quicken a little. He had never experienced anything like this before. It felt somewhat like the way his body reacted in battle, though the response was nowhere near as intense.
"He was badly injured after that battle, but he'd fully recovered by the time I left. He might already be out on another mission by now."
Once he stopped looking at
