Chiba Yo smiled and nodded in agreement.
After they chatted for a while longer, Kyojuro left. He still needed to visit the Butterfly Mansion for a few more checkups.
Chiba Yo also planned to confirm their next steps with Oyakata-sama. As for the Kasugai Crow in his hand, he had decided to leave it alone.
After this incident, he had finally seen this fellow for what it was. Its love of showing off was simply impossible to change. The harder he suppressed it, the harder it pushed back. On the way to the Ubuyashiki Estate, Chiba Yo met quite a few more people who praised him, leaving his face stiff from smiling the whole way.
