Huo Yuhao grew up in the White Tiger Duke’s Mansion, fifty li northwest of Star Luo City. His memories of childhood combine affection for his mother with abuse and humiliation at the mansion. Seeing Dai Huabin again brings back an incident in which servants threatened him, a young master ordered him beaten, and his mother cried out for him 55 207.

By the time he meets Tang Ya and Bei Bei, he says that he has no family left. His mother’s suffering becomes a central motivation: he vows to give her a grand burial and make those who bullied her pay 5 54.

Personality

Huo Yuhao is exceptionally persistent. During Zhou Yi’s running assessment, he drives his exhausted body onward with Soul Power and repeatedly refuses to accept elimination. His dedication later carries over into soul-tool study, where Wang Dong calls him a “hardworking little bee” and regards his schedule as almost superhuman 12 83.

He is friendly and respectful toward senior students and teachers, but does not passively accept mistreatment: he immediately challenges Wang Dong’s attempt to impose unilateral dormitory rules. He also becomes easily flustered by Gu Qingnian’s teasing and appearance, while increasingly relying on him for reassurance and guidance 9 11 13.

Shrek Academy and the Freshman Assessment

Huo Yuhao enters Shrek through special admission. Gu Qingnian helps him finish Zhou Yi’s hundred-lap assessment when he is about to collapse, and Zhou Yi later introduces both boys to Fan Yu because of their mental-attribute martial souls 12 13.

In the selection melee, Huo Yuhao gathers his companions around Bei Bei’s group and serves as their battlefield coordinator. His shared detection, instructions to He Caitou, and fusion attack with Wang Dong attract Xuan Zi’s attention 172 173 175 176 187.

Return to the Star Luo Empire

The Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Soul Fighting Tournament brings him back toward the region where he grew up. The possibility of visiting the Duke’s Mansion troubles him because servants there might still recognize him, even though Dai Yueheng and Dai Huabin no longer did 207.
