• On the journey to Star Luo City, Gu Qingnian refused the White Tiger Duke’s invitation to the camp and crushed his hand before the Duke made peace with him.
• Gu Qingnian and Wang Yan tracked the Death Messengers to a cave, where the bandits’ exploding corpse slaves injured the students and killed Yao Haoxuan.
• Gu Qingnian pursued the Death Messenger with Electrolux’s power, then used the Chaos Divine Mill to destroy the enemy’s will as the Corpse Slaves killed him.
• Xuan Zi placed the surviving students under Gu Qingnian’s command and returned Dai Yueheng and Chen Zifeng to Shrek for treatment, while Ma Xiaotao stepped down as captain.
• With no reinforcements arriving, Gu Qingnian told Shrek’s tournament team that every member might need to fight and assured Wang Yan he would handle the coming challenges.
• Shrek Academy faced Tianling Advanced Soul Master Academy in the tournament’s opening match, but Wang Dong announced that Gu Qingnian had still not arrived.
