Qin Chao's bold idea successfully persuaded Bibi Dong. After the two worked out their plans, they finally chose Holy Soul Village as the "pilot site" for his venture.
Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo led the Golden Generation in scouring the outskirts of Star Dou Forest for quite some time, catching almost every juvenile soul beast aged one to ten years that could be transplanted or captured. A rough count put them at seventy or eighty species. Looking at those tender little creatures before him, Qin Chao felt the same fondness he would have felt looking at soul coins.
Soul beasts grew and reproduced much like ordinary animals. Animal-type soul beasts generally became capable of mating after three to five years, while plant-type soul beasts were even simpler: harvest in autumn, store in winter. The villagers of Holy Soul Village made their living farming and also raised chickens, ducks, geese, and the like. Qin Chao believed that with just a little guidance, raising soul beasts would certainly be well within their abilities.
With preparations complete, the four members of the Golden Generation set off for Holy Soul Village with a convoy loaded with soul beasts.

The convoy rolled into the village in grand procession. Flags bearing Spirit Hall's emblem fluttered atop the carriages, their luxurious white fabric and gold embroidery looking utterly out of place in the shabby little village.
The villagers gathered at the village entrance, curiously examining the carriages draped in black cloth. In an unnoticed corner, a drunken Tang Hao watched it all, a complicated gleam entering his eyes.
"Spirit Hall, have your hands already reached into even this obscure little village?"
Tang Hao muttered,
