As he spoke, Cordis reached for the impossibly beautiful Ruby.
Of course, Hisoka wasn't about to hand it over so easily. He caught Cordis by the wrist and pulled him into his arms, bringing their faces close together.
Unsurprisingly, Hisoka planted a kiss on Cordis's lips.
Normally, Cordis would probably have jumped up by now and tried to fight him to the death.
Today, however, Cordis was unusually compliant. He even returned Hisoka's kiss, leaning forward with his eyes half closed and his lips slightly parted, letting Hisoka's tongue run rampant in his mouth.
Of course, Cordis wasn't idle during all this. He carefully reached toward the Ruby lying off to the side.
His fingers were just about to touch it when another hand swiftly snatched it away.
An even more passionate kiss followed.
Hisoka's hands began to wander toward Cordis's waist as well. Just as Cordis was wondering whether to punch him in the stomach,
the waitress, who had been waiting beside them for quite some time, suddenly spoke.
"Your food is ready."
She pointed toward a nearby building topped with an enormous heart and gave them a knowing smile.
"The hotel over there is quite nice."
With that, she left with a broad smile. Her meaning was obvious, and Hisoka thanked her with a grin.
Cordis finally managed to escape Hisoka's grasp. Unlike Hisoka, he wasn't shameless enough to take the waitress's teasing in stride.
