Number Two caught the volleyball just before it hit the floor, then spun around and tossed it to Number Thirteen behind him.
While Grenu was still stunned, Number Thirteen took the ball and sent it flying toward him. With the ball already right in front of him, Grenu had no time to react or switch positions.
The volleyball struck Grenu squarely. Even though Razor had not thrown it himself, it still packed tremendous force, blasting a man as powerfully built as Grenu straight into the wall.
The ball dropped to the floor with a thud.
Seeing this, Number Zero raised his hand and announced, "Player Grenu is eliminated. Player Razor was hit, but the ball was successfully caught before it touched the floor, so he is not out."
Grenu had clearly been knocked out cold. Staying true to his role as backup, Cordis hurried over and pried him out of the wall.
He carried Grenu with one arm and laid him on a chair in the rest area.
But with Grenu unconscious, the Nen beasts he had summoned disappeared as well. That was bad news. Only Gon, Killua, Biscuit, and Hisoka remained on the court.
And Gon and Killua were only twelve-year-old children. Against Razor, who still had Beck on the court, they were clearly at a disadvantage.
Jeter Shari, who was also resting outside the court, grew anxious at the sight. "Isn't there any way to wake Grenu up?"
His two companions began searching for water, but before they could bring any over, Cordis stopped them. "Forget it. Even if he wakes up, he won't be able to summon his Nen beasts right away."
"Besides, there's no way Gon and the others will lose."
Jeter Shari looked back at the court doubtfully. "Can... can they really win this?"
