Cordis pushed the serving cart along, using [Zetsu] so that almost no one passing him noticed him.
He reached the first room on the floor without any trouble. Just as he was about to knock, the door flew open. Unable to dodge in time, he took it straight to the nose.
Cordis rubbed his nose and let out a pained howl.
When he raised his head a little, he saw Hisoka, fully dressed, leaning against the doorframe and looking down at him with a faint smile.
Seeing Cordis on the verge of tears from the pain, Hisoka even gave a couple of mocking chuckles.
Cordis shot to his feet and glared at Hisoka in fury, but before he could voice his reproach, a Purple-Haired Woman with delicate features and a formal gown suddenly appeared and slipped her arm through Hisoka's.
Leaning against his shoulder, she glanced at Cordis, then turned to Hisoka and asked, "Who's this?"
Hisoka stroked her head a couple of times. "Someone very important. I'll play with you another time."
The woman glared at Cordis, then shouted at Hisoka, "Hah! I paid three million for an hour of your time. Don't think you can run off. You know who my family is."
Hisoka smiled and nodded with an utterly sincere expression.
The woman gave a cold huff, then lifted her enormous skirt and left.
As she passed Cordis, she slammed into him hard.
Only that shove finally snapped Cordis out of his daze. He stared at Hisoka in shock and opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but there was so much to take issue with that he had no idea where to start.
Seeing Cordis standing there like an idiot, Hisoka simply turned and walked into the room. Cordis hurried after him with the serving cart.
