Sao nodded.
This went way beyond defying common sense. Who the fuck had come up with this case?
Whoever dreamed up such an inhuman case couldn't be normal either.
Cordis continued questioning him.
"Then what happened with the ligature marks on June's neck?"
Sao continued.
"This morning, she used her pregnancy as an excuse to confess her love to me. I only felt ordinary affection for her, so I immediately went out to buy abortion pills for her."
"But when I came back, she'd already hanged herself in an attempt to commit suicide. Luckily, I managed to save her, and then I kicked her out."
"I gave her the abortion pills and threatened to cut ties with her if she didn't terminate the pregnancy."
A normal person would probably listen and get an abortion.
But the problem was that June wasn't right in the head. Someone like that was capable of anything.
It was entirely possible that she'd suddenly gone berserk on her way back and pounded her own belly until she'd killed her child.
Especially after the man she loved had rejected her confession, she was very likely to try to kill herself.
Cordis beckoned Hisoka over, signaling for him to bring his ear closer.
