"Gon, watch out on your right~"
At those words, Gon instinctively looked to his right.
Bam!
A huge rock slammed into his face from the left.
It knocked Gon straight to the ground.
He brushed the rubble off his face, gritted his teeth, and glared furiously at Hisoka.
He stood up and clenched his fists, ready to attack Hisoka again.
Just then, the referee watching from the side raised his hand.
"Hisoka versus Gon Freecss."
"Eleven to four."
"Winner: Hisoka."
"What?! You bastard!"
Gon naturally refused to accept the ruling, but there was nothing he could do. His tightly clenched fists slowly relaxed.
Even so, he continued to glare fiercely at Hisoka.
"Hisoka, until next time."
With that, he turned and left the ring.
Hisoka remained in the ring, basking in the applause for his victory.
And, of course, in the murderous look Cordis was directing at him.
Cordis gripped the armrest in front of him fiercely, staring at the ring in fury.
But the ridiculous thing was that he had no reason to be angry.
Right now, he was like an unreasonable child, throwing a tantrum simply because things hadn't gone as he expected.
He covered his face with his hand, forcing himself to calm down.
Killua was still beside him.
He couldn't let him see this ugly side of himself.
Half a minute passed.
Only after Cordis was certain he had calmed down did he lower his hand, leave his seat, and head for the exit.
The armrest he had been gripping was now crushed beyond recognition.
Cordis brought Killua to the entrance.
They found Gon covered in wounds.
Cordis held back his distress, forced a smile, and stroked Gon's head.
"You landed several punches on Hisoka! That was amazing!"
Looking at Cordis's gentle smile, Gon showed a
